Model 1 Commercial Vehicles forms affiliation with Indiana Ford dealership

Model 1’s co-branded affiliation with the dealership brings stability and financial resources to grow the Warsaw dealership’s operation, inventory and after-sales support

Warsaw, Ind.—Model 1 Commercial Vehicles, the nation’s largest bus and transportation services dealer, has formed its first affiliation with an automotive dealership. Model 1 Ford of Warsaw sells new Ford cars, trucks, SUVs, vans, and light and heavy duty trucks in a variety of powertrains that include internal combustion engines (ICE), diesel, EV and hybrid.

The facility, previously occupied by Rice Ford, is located in Warsaw, Ind., in close proximity to both Elkhart, Ind. — a market dense with industry suppliers — and Model 1 headquarters in Indianapolis.

Model 1’s co-branded affiliation with the automotive entity brings stability and financial resources to grow the Warsaw dealership’s operation, inventory and after-sales support. Quicker access to Ford parts also improves uptime for Model 1 Commercial Vehicles customers locally and throughout the U.S.

Most traditional Ford automotive dealerships are not set up to also offer sales, parts and service to bus owners and fleets. The Warsaw dealership affiliation is a natural fit for Model 1 Commercial Vehicles, which brings more than 40 years of experience selling, servicing and financing buses and commercial trucks.

“Model 1 Ford of Warsaw provides customers a turnkey one-stop-shop with extensive options, access to Ford parts, and attentiveness to after-sales support and resources,” said T.J. Matijevich, Model 1 Vice President and General Manager.

Model 1 Ford of Warsaw has retained all employees who previously worked for Rice Ford and anticipates adding more members to the team soon.
